We have thankfully passed through another year without the taking of one of our local uniformed heroes, although this time just barely so. But for a half inch of carefully woven cloth dutifully crafted into a vest, we would have seen yet another name chiseled into that tall standing memorial sitting solemnly on courthouse grounds….
