Hopewell Township residents Shane McLyden and Brittaney Mckee, of 1403 Maratta Road, sought a variance on an ordinance that would allow them to expand their house by over 50% of its existing square footage. This addition would add four new bedrooms, two and a half new bathrooms, a living room and a garage.
This addition would violate the structure setback of ninety feet that is in place in the township.
There was no public comment during the hearing, and the board stated they will send a notice to the property owners on their decision within the next forty-five days.
